Robert WeissAn eye doctor with the Chicago Eye Institute allegedly videotaped four women in the bathroom and in a locker room. He was arrested Tuesday.

Fifty-eight-year-old Robert Weiss gave himself up to police. He is charged with four counts of unauthorized videotaping.

He targeted his victims in restrooms and in the locker rooms. This took place right here in sweet home Chicago.

An investigation had revealed he had been secretly taping at least two women in a locker room at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, 836 W. Wellington Ave., and another two in a restroom at the Eye Institute’s second location at 3982 N. Milwaukee Ave.

A small camera attached to the tank with Velcro was the weapon of choice.

One woman, age 27, discovered a small camera Velcroed to the inside of a toilet tank in a restroom at the Eye Institute on April 2 while she was using the facility (Chicago Tribune)

Talk about ogling someone who doesn’t want to be bothered. It’s tripped out to see this happen in real life. With today’s technology, this probably happens more than we know. Cameras are getting smaller and smaller.

So ladies, be careful. In fact, don’t even use public bathrooms anymore. Just carry a bedpan around with you in your purse. Then pull it out right where you’re sitting and handle your business.

At least that way, you can see who’s watching.
