Damn Trick Daddy

Trick Daddy got caught with drugs and a gun. He was arrested Thursday night and charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. His government name is Maurice Young.

For reasons unclear, the Broward County Drug Task Force had a “sniff warrant” to search Tick Daddy’s home. They arrested him as he pulled up and got out his car. Maybe they could have been searching for a grow house.

Young admitted he had powder cocaine in the home and maybe marijuana roaches but no grow house.

When deputies searched the home, they found 1g of powder that field tested positive for cocaine, the affidavit said. A 9mm Sig Sauer and a box of ammunition were also found in the home (NBC Miami).

Maurice Young was also charged with possession of cocaine and driving with a suspended license. When we asked him why he had cocaine and a gun in his house, he replied, “Cause I’m a Thug.”

Naw, I’m just trippin’ with that last part. LOL! “Cause I’m a Thug”is the name of his hit single from 2001.

Damn, Tick Daddy. I can indeed help you out with this one. The best way to not get caught with guns and drugs, is to not have them in your possession in the first place. Especially if you’re already a convicted felon.
