The famous Highland Park house from the movie ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ is on the market, again. And, it’s only a cool 1.5 million dollars.

The house and its separate glass-enclosed auto pavilion, which perches over a railing on steel pilings, have been off the market since 2011. The property first was listed in 2009 for $2.3 million but found no takers. It later was reduced to $1.8 million and then to $1.65 million before coming off the market in 2011 for some light rehab work. For a time, the property remained off the market but still informally listed.

Now, the Rose family, who are the only owners the property ever has had, relisted the property on Monday for a new, lower price.(Chicago Tribune)

Who can forget when Ferris Bueller’s best friend, Cameron Frye, caused his father’s Ferrari to shatter through the glass pavilion and plummet to the ground. If I had it like that, I would buy this crib and not even live in it. It would be like a club house, or just something to show off.
