“Get Rich Die Wealthy” is a video directed by Lash 2Tone.
Lyle LBboi Jr. got the auto-tune going throughout. Lots of close ups in this video are coupled with very quick editing.
They are out in what appears to be a graveyard on a dreary, overcast day. This appropriately sets the mood. Check it out!
Quality stuff from Mike Spitz called “Up on the Stage.” It’s more like Hip-Hop over Rock-N-Roll.
This is a great example of how Hip-Hop has expanded and influenced many since its inception.
This video has excellent camera work and editing. Within the first 25 seconds, there is a rack focus here and a rack focus there. Not mad at all. Good film/video work is universal.

Two weeks in a row at number one for Jidenna and “Classic Man.” The ladies always requests it. Dawn Duchess moves up two spots to number six with “Champagne Bottles.”
“The Norm” by The Rapper Quote cracks the top ten this week while “Flex” by Rich Homie Quan storms onto the chart and lands at number 16. Chris Brown has a new song on the chart too called “Liquor.”

The Game’s two week run comes to an end as Jidenna takes the number one spot. Ray Bandz moves into the top 25 with “Mystery Girl.”
Omarion finally cracks the top ten with “I’m Up,” giving him two consecutive top ten hits. Dawn Duchess is enjoying her second straight top ten hit as well with “Champagne Bottles.”
“No Sleep” by Janet Jackson inches a bit higher and lands at number four this time. While Lauryn Hill enjoys yet another week in the top ten. Peep the full chart:
The Game holds on for a second week at number one with “100.” Ray Jr. and Dawn Duchess storm into the top ten and land at number eight and number 10 respectively.
King Piff makes his way onto the chart this week with his freestyle “In the Air.” Fetty Wap holds down the number 25 spot with “679.”
Omarion is still knocking on the door of the top ten with “I’m Up” and Janet Jackson moves into the top five with “No Sleep.”
Straight Outta Compton chronicles the story of the legendary Hip-Hop group Niggaz With Attitude. Based on true events, the movie focuses on the Compton California crew featuring Easy E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, DJ Yella, and MC Ren.
Dre and Yella are popular DJ’s at a club run by Alonzo Williams. After being arrested, Dre convinces drug dealer Eric Wright to invest money into funding Ruthless Records. Cube writes the track Boys in the Hood for a rap group named Home Boys Only, who reject the song.
With Cube unable to record due to prior commitments, they convince Wright to perform. The journey advances on a ride through the peak of the group’s popularity during the early 90’s, and concludes with Easy E‘s death, along with Dr. Dre‘s departure from Death Row Records.
Ray Jr. storms onto the chart this week with his jam “Biggie.” On this song, his flow is tight on the last verse. Dawn Duchess releases “Champagne Bottles” as her follow up to “Work.” Her new banger shows up at number 20, giving her two songs on the chart this week.
“Legendary” by Nique lands at number three after holding down the number one spot last week. Chicago‘s own Do or Die has a new song called “In the Sky” featuring Rick Ross. And the Rapper Quote creeps in at number 24 with “The Norm.” Click through for the full chart.
Now that the dash-cam video has been released, taken down, and re-released again, the nation can see what happened. Just as suspected, another out of control cop escalated a situation that ended up way worse than it had to be.
Sandra Bland drove along the road minding her own business. A cop car quickly closed in on her out of nowhere. When Bland changed lanes in an effort to get out of the policeman’s way, the cop chose to pull her over for changing lanes without signalling.
This tactic is used often by policemen. Out of the blue, they roll up on you at top speed as if something is on fire. If one reacts to them abruptly, that gives them reason to question you, search you, or in this case pull you over. As an ultimate result, Bland was arrested. She was found dead in police custody days later in what medical examiners ruled a suicide.
