Teen killed, 2 others wounded, in South Side shooting

A teenager was fatally shot and two other people were wounded Saturday night in the South Side’s Back-of-the-Yards neighborhood.
Andre Stephens, 17, of the 5700 blcok of South Racine Avenue, was pronounced dead at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 5:26 a.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Stephens and two other people were walking south on South Morgan Street when they were shot near West 57th Street about 11:15 p.m., police said.
Morgan and another person were taken to Stroger Hospital. The third person was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Sunday afternoon, police said.
