Crowned! Bulls blow 35-point lead during loss to Kings..

Written by on December 21, 2009

The Chicago Bulls nearly entered the NBA History record books on Monday evening, but not in a positive way.

This comes after one of their most disappointing losses ever, as the Sacramento Kings rallied from a THIRTY-FIVE point 3rd quarter deficit to stun the Bulls 102-98 at the United Center.

Rookie phenom guard Tyreke Evans led the Kings with 23 points & hit several clutch shots down the stretch, as he outscored Chicago by himself 9-3 over the game’s final 2:13.

The most disheartning thing about tonight’s game is that Sacramento pulled it off without Kevin Martin (30.6 PPG average would lead NBA with more games played), who is out another 3 weeks with a fractured left wrist.

The Bulls will try to shake off this horrible and stunning defeat quickly, as they will travel to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks tomorrow evening at 6:30 PM Central time.
