Shaquille O’Neal to miss rest of regular season…

The team with the NBA’s best record will be forced to play some small ball for awhile.
This comes after Cleveland Cavalier Shaquille O Neal’s surgery on Monday for his injured right thumb, as the 15-time NBA All-Star center will be sidelined for the next 6-to-8 weeks.
O’Neal suffered the injury during Cleveland’s 103-83 win over Boston on Thursday, as he was denied a basket by the Celtics’ Glen Davis.
He immediately called for timeout, and headed towards the Cavaliers’ locker room while flexing his right thumb.
Cleveland will be forced to use a combination of 6’11 Anderson Varejao & 6’9 J.J. Hickson at center until current free-agent Zydrunas Ilgauskas is eligible to re-sign with the Cavs on March 21st.
Congratulations go out to guard Daniel Gibson, who is a first-time father following his birth of his newborn sorn with Grammy-award winning R&B Artist Keyshia Cole.
