Vikings release Randy Moss..

In an absolute stunning move, the Minnesota Vikings parted ways with Randy Moss just a month after acquiring him in a trade from the New England Patriots.

It came just one day after Moss made some extremely controversial comments following their 28-18 loss to New England on Sunday.

Moss tried all week to give Minnesota’s coaches inside information on how New England ran their offense, but it didn’t work as the Vikings fell to 1-3 since acquiring the 6-time Pro Bowl receiver.

Even though he’s about to head to his 3rd different team this season, Moss has a lot of respect for the Patriots organization even if he’s not wanted back:

“I’m definitely down that we lost this game. I didn’t expect we’d lose this game. I don’t know how many more times I’ll be in New England again. But I leave coach Belichick and those guys with a salute: ‘I love you guys. I miss you. I’m out.”’

Moss will be free to sign with any team come Tuesday afternoon, as he’ll have to pass a 24-hour waiver claim by the NFL. He’s also owed $6.4 million for the remainder of the season.
