Kevin Love explodes for 30-30 game vs. Knicks..

Kevin Love put together a performance for the ages on Friday evening at the Target Center, which helped his Minnesota Timberwolves rally from 21 points down to beat the New York Knicks 112-103.

Love scored 31 points & grabbed 31 rebounds, as he became the first NBA player in 28 years (Moses Malone had 38 points/32 rebounds in 1982 vs. Seattle) to have a 30-30 game.

It even topped another impressive game Love had put together earlier this week, as he scored 23 points & grabbed 24 rebounds on Tuesday during a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Love had nearly half of his rebounds in the 3rd quarter, as he grabbed down 15 to help the Timberwolves comeback from a big deficit & win the game.

He also became the first NBA player to grab 30 rebounds or more in a game since Charles Barkley hauled down 33 in 1996 against his old team Phoenix as a member of the Houston Rockets.

Even former NBA forward & current Timberwolves head coach Kurt Rambis was marveled by Love’s performance:

“Kevin had an incredible game. Those numbers are just stupid. I don’t even know what to say.”
