Two People Shoot Up Heroin at McDonalds While the Kids Played

Two adults took two kids to Mickey D’s. They overdosed on heroin while a 5-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy enjoyed the slides and ate Happy Meals.

37 year old Robert Paul Palmer and 33 year old Tamica Lynn Jeffers were arrested last Sunday at a McDonald’s play land in Cincinnati, Ohio. The fire department found them both unresponsive. One was still conscious but the other was not breathing.

They recovered from what authorities call “life-threatening overdoses” of heroine. Both of them pleaded not guilty and are being held in Hamilton County. Bond is $10,000 for Palmer and $6,000 for Jeffers.

Not a good look for these two. This is not how one wants to rise to be a local celebrity. The funny part is they probably had good intentions. Sounds like they got their tax refunds, bought themselves a bunch of drugs, and I dunno . . . maybe they wanted to do something nice for the kids too.

That had to be a hell of an experience for all of the children at Mickey D’s. One second, they were on top of the word and exactly where they wanted to be . . . kickin’ it at Ronald McDonlad’s house for cryin’ out loud. What kid doesn’t like that? The next thing they know, they look up and see this grown man overdosed on heroin. All stretched out in the chair, probably looking like Chris Tucker in “Dead Presidents,” when the police busted in on him and he had that needle sticking out his arm while he was supposed to be watching Soul Train.

I’m offended by this turn of events, but not at all surprised.
