Despite getting a standing ovation from the Metrodome crowd, Brett Favre felt the jitters in his 1st game since unretiring to join the Minnesota Vikings on Friday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Favre played in just 2 offensive series for Minnesota, which included 3 handoffs to Adrian Peterson (3 carries, 10 yards) & completed his only pass of the game to rookie Percy Harvin for a 4-yard gain.

He did get rocked before leaving the game by Chiefs linebacker & Chicago native Corey Mays, which forced an errant throw.

Afterwards, Vikings head coach Brad Childress joked that ““He (Favre) did tell me that no one’s tackled him off his tractor. Good for him to get hit.”

Favre will undoubtely be Minnesota’s starter at quarterback when the regular season opens on September 13th against the Cleveland Browns.

His much anticipated return to Lambeau Field will be on November 1st to face the Green Bay Packers, whom which he spent 16 NFL seasons with & made 9 Pro Bowl appearences along with 3 Most Valuable Player awards (1995-97) & a Super Bowl XXXI win.
