Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop on his 22-yard field goal in overtime to stun the defending world champs:
“To do it against the defending Super Bowl champions is a great feeling. A lot of hard work has gone into it and our coaches and players and everybody has really bought in.”

“I made a dumb play and threw an interception in a tight situation.”

Rodgers on the importance of beating San Francisco, who snubbed him in the 2005 NFL Draft:
“It’s fun to play against a team that you idolized growing up, and watched every Sunday after church. You’ve got to give those guys credit. I think in the second half, they fought a little harder.”

“It’s disappointing because we didn’t come out with the outcome we wanted. We had a lot of great contributions and great efforts from a lot of guys in the second half to come back from 14 down. But with that said, there are no moral victories.”

“It was more a function of wanting to make sure we had the right personnel and we wanted to take a look at what they were going to do. We had the timeout so at that point I thought it was a good idea to use it, look at it, and get the guys in spots we thought they needed to be in.”

“I’ve always felt like, no matter what is really wrong—as long as it’s not a broken bone or something that’s going to keep you out—just on the adrenaline of the game, you can always do it. That’s just part of football, part of understanding that’s the only way to play the game.”

Seahawks coach Jim Mora on Favre’s performance, as he surpassed Dan Marino with his 22nd game with 4 or more passing touchdowns on Sunday:
“I saw Brett after the game and said, ‘Would you retire, please. He said ‘You’ve been saying that to me for about eight years,’ and I said, ‘I know, and I’m going to keep saying it to you.’ The guy is remarkable, but we’ve still got to be better.”

Warner on his concussion, which caused him to miss the entire 2nd half:
“I’ve had a couple of minor concussions, very minor, nothing that’s been prolonged. So not a state of panic. I feel good. I think I’m going to be just fine, but we’ll take it day by day and we’ll see.”

Patriots cornerback Leigh Bodden (3 interceptions on Sunday) on finishing the job this week:
“There was a lot of emotion from last week, not finishing the game. We definitely wanted to finish this game.”

Star Player of the Game: Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who rushed 20 times for 73 yards & scored 1 touchdown.
Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall on his sideline spat with teammate Knowshon Moreno:
“I don’t regret anything. This is a playoff game. There were guys on the sideline that weren’t angry, who didn’t have a lot of emotion, then they need to look themselves in the mirror. This is a game where you’ve got to have it. None of us can make any terrible plays,” he said.

Raiders linebacker Sam Williams on the presence of 3-year old Delaney, who is the daughter of slain teammate Marquis Cooper:
“Before the game his daughter said she was excited to watch the game. She said, ‘I get to see my daddy play! Man. I just spread the word and everybody felt the emotions of that. It was special.”

“We’re running out of time. The window is getting smaller and smaller. Anything can happen, you get strange things happening in November and December, but for us it’s smaller and smaller.”

Texans kicker Kris Brown on missing a potential game-tying 49-yard field goal with 1 second remaining:
“The frustrating part for me is, we have 44 guys out there, busting their tails, and one guy out there not doing his job, which is me. That’s the reason we lose the game. That’s hard. I’ve got to figure out what the heck’s going on, and I need to figure it out pretty quick.”
