Steelers lose 5th straight, playoff hopes in jeopardy..

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ chances of defending their Super Bowl title look slim to none following their 5th consecutive loss, as the Cleveland Browns held on for a 13-6 upset win.

Rob Ryan & the Browns’ defense harassed Ben Roethlisberger all evening, as the two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback was sacked 8 times, which is his highest total since September 21st of 2008. (Also sacked 8 times during a 15-6 loss to Philadelphia.)

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will most likely take some heat for failing to deliver on his promised lineup changes following Sunday’s 27-24 home loss to Oakland.

All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu missed his 3rd straight game on Thursday, while Pittsburgh now falls to 2-5 on the season without him.
