Congratulations to Joe Girardi’s New York Yankees, who will advance to the American League Championship Series for the second consecutive year.

It will be the first time that the Yankees will make back-to-back ALCS appearences since 2003 & 2004, which were both against the Red Sox.

As for Ron Gardenhire’s Minnesota Twins, they fail to advance to their first American League Championship Series since 2002.

New York will now await the winner between Tampa Bay & Texas.
