Bears defensive end Julius Peppers on returning home to face his former team:

“It’s home. I was here for 30 years, of course I’m going to miss it a little bit. But as far as the football part of it, I don’t really miss anything. I’m happy where I’m at now.”

21

Star Player of the Game: Buccaneers running back Earnest Graham, who rushed 3 times for 65 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer on his two interceptions thrown Sunday:

“We felt like we had the game in control, and those two plays sealed our fate in this one. We were a little bit off on the last couple of plays, and that summed up the game for us.”

6

Star Player of the Game: Lions quarterback Shaun Hill, who completed 21 of 32 passes for 227 yards & threw for 3 touchdowns.

Lions head coach Jim Schwartz on Stefan Logan’s 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdown:

“You can see on the film that so many times we’re one block away. We just need to do a good job of getting all 11 guys moving in the same direction, with not one person breaking down.”

34

10

Star Player of the Game: Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who caught 12 receptions for 130 yards & scored 2 touchdowns.

Texans head coach Gary Kubiak on his team’s second straight poor home performance:

“I’m shocked by how we played. The discipline part is what bothers me the most.”

31

17

Star Player of the Game: Ravens running back Ray Rice, who rushed 27 times for 133 yards & scored 2 touchdowns.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco on the team racking up 233 yards rushing:

“(Denver) started doing some things to combat what we were doing. Then came our running game. Our offensive line did a great job. Ray was just finding the little holes, putting us in good third-down situations.”

20

10

Star Player of the Game: Falcons running back Michael Turner, who rushed 19 times for 140 yards.

Falcons head coach Mike Smith on defensive end Kroy Biermann’s 31-yard interception return for a touchdown:

“Kroy is from Montana. He has probably rode a few wild broncos and bulls and been thrown off and landed on his feet. It was just a super athletic play.”

19

9

Star Player of the Game: Colts running back Mike Hart, who rushed 11 times for 50 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel on the team’s offensive miscues:

“It was a time in the game where we felt that we were going to take a shot. The play worked out perfectly. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make that play. That stuff happens. We’re going to have to be able to overcome that.”

36

26

Star Player of the Game: Jaguars quarterback David Garrard, who completed 16 of 20 passes for 178 yards, while throwing for 3 touchdowns & 1 interception.

Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis on the team’s one-year turnaround:

“The difference of what we have in that locker room from a few years back is crazy. To be able to go out there and not blink, keep battling, quiet the crowd a little bit was big-time for us. We expect to win. That’s one of the biggest differences with us this year. We don’t go in there when we get scored on and tuck our tails. We expect to fire back.”

16

13 (F/OT)

Star Player of the Game: Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss, who caught 7 receptions for 118 yards.

Packers tight end Jermichael Finley on the team suffering injuries to six different players on Sunday:

“It’s one of them seasons, man, where everybody is getting hit, and we just got to bounce back. Hopefully at the end of the season it could be a story, you know, about us still being in the Super Bowl. I still got faith in this team.”

30

20

Star Player of the Game: Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who caught 7 receptions for 93 yards.

Cardinals quarterback Max Hall on making his first career NFL start on Sunday:

34

27

Star Player of the Game: Titans running back Chris Johnson, who rushed 19 times for 131 yards & scored 2 touchdowns.

Titans head coach Jeff Fisher on the Cowboys’ costly celebration penalty that helped set up Marc Mariani’s 73-yard kickoff return late in the game:

“That misconduct penalty was big. That return probably doesn’t happen if they’re not kicking off down there (on their 15).”

35

27

Star Player of the Game: Raiders running back Michael Bush, who rushed 26 times for 104 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Raiders head coach Tom Cable on the team snapping their 13-game losing streak to San Diego on Sunday:

“That’s a heck of a team, and it’s been our nemesis for a number of years, obviously dating back to 2003. They’ve been the champ. And if you ever want to be that, you’ve got to beat the champ. So it’s just a good win.”

27

Eagles head coach Andy Reid on the performance from backup quarterback Kevin Kolb, who started in place of Michael Vick (ribs):

29

20

Star Player of the Game: Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who rushed 20 times for 94 yards.

Vikings quarterback Brett Favre on his elbow tendinitis:

“This is probably the worst it’s felt in four games. I missed some throws the last drive I think I make in my sleep.”
