Broncos fire Josh McDaniels..

With exactly 4 games to go in their dismal 2010 season, the Denver Broncos have decided to make a big change.

The team fired their 34-year old head coach Josh McDaniels on Monday, just weeks after he was accused of illegally videotaping a San Francisco 49ers practice.

He wore out his own welcome even before his 1st game, as the much-publicized trade rumor involving bringing Matt Cassel to Denver did not sit well with Jay Cutler.

That forced the Broncos to trade Cutler to the Bears in April of 2009, as they received Kyle Orton along with 3 future draft picks.

In 2009, McDaniel’s Broncos got off to a 6-0 start, but faltered down the stretch as they finished 8-8 & missed the playoffs.

He made a controversial move prior to Game 17 by de-activating star receiver Brandon Marshall after an injury dispute, as Denver got routed 44-24 by Kansas City.

The Broncos split each of their first 4 games in 2010, but have lost 7 of their last 8 games, which led to McDaniel’s dismissal.

Running backs coach Eric Studesville will take over as the interim coach & will make his debut on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
